NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Delaware County are investigating the circumstances surrounding the drowning of a 3-year-old girl Saturday evening.
The incident happened at Saint Albans Swim Club in Newtown Square. At about 5 p.m., emergency crews arrived at the swim club to find a lifeguard performing CPR on the victim.
She was taken to Bryn Mawr Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 5:40 p.m.
The little girl’s name has not been released.
