PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A suspect was taken into police custody after he allegedly stabbed a man on the platform of a SEPTA subway station Tuesday.
The incident happened at about 11 a.m. at the Broad Street and Ellsworth Street stop in South Philadelphia.
According to investigators, the incident began as an argument between the suspect and a 21-year-old male.
Police say the suspect stabbed the victim in the stomach. The victim was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in an unknown condition.
The suspect was taken into custody at the scene. The incident remains under police investigation.
