Man Dies After Being Found In Parking Lot Of Delaware Hotel

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are investigating the suspicious death of a man whose body was found in the parking lot of a hotel early Wednesday morning.

The man's body was found at about 7 a.m. in the parking lot of the Fairview Inn on S. Market Street in Wilmington.

Delaware State Police were called to the scene and upon their arrival, they found an unidentified 47-year-old male lying in the parking lot suffering from wounds to his chest.

The victim was transported by EMS to the Christiana Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

His body has been turned over to the medical examiners office, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.

So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation into the victim's death is ongoing.
