Looks like golf  is ging to be a difficult proposition for the next couple of days, so its a good time to make some golfing plans and perhaps a do little online shopping.

By Friday, the sun is expected to be back out and Back Creek Golf Club (see photo)  is holding a morning shotgun start special.  It is a 7:30am tee time… and $30 covers your green fee and cart.
A few local courses are promoting their Couples leagues and events:

At Moccasin Run they begin June 3, are Fridays at 5p through the end of July, and will have a different format each week.   Cost is $40 per couple.

The Manor Golf Club’s Couples Leagues begin this Thursday evening at 6:00, and every level of player is encouraged to come out.  It’s $16 per player for nine holes and cart.   Call Cheryl at 610-334-8690 for more information.

Makefield Highlands is holding a 9-hole Couples Scramble on Sunday, May 22.  The entry fee includes green fees, cart, buffet dinner and prizes…. and is $75 per couple for Lower Makefield Twp. residents and $90 for others.

And this isn’t a couples event but the format is certianly unique:  Ron Jaworski’s Valleybrook Golf Club has a 2-player scramble on tap for Sunday, May 29.  Here’s the twist:  it is a 3-club tournament.  Choose your three favorite weapons and sign up!
