PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Zinch is a web site that can help colleges and students connect. On this site, students can create a profile similar to a college application. These profiles can be browsed by colleges with an opportunity to form a connection with the user.
Colleges also have the ability to search through these profiles in order to contact interested students. Zinch started out as a research project at Princeton University in June 2006 by a group of students.
Getting In! The Zinch Guide to College Admissions and Financial Aid in the Digital Age, is published by Wiley and it’s a most comprehensive book incorporating all aspects of applying, deciding on and funding for college.
Prospective applicants will find themselves in the case studies, learning the jargon of higher ed, the cautions in applying and the how- to’s of every step and misstep along the way.
