Flyers Fans Excited About Watching A Winter Classic In Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The NHL's Winter Classic is expected to be in Philadelphia in 2012 (see related story), and Flyers fans are all for it.

Chris Hall, a sophomore at Lehigh University, was in Boston to see the Flyers lose to the Bruins at the 2010 Winter Classic. He's curious to see how the rink will be configured at Citizens Bank Park.

"I mean, it's really different. Because I know at Fenway usually the good seats are behind home plate, and along the third base line and the first base line. During the Winter Classic, those weren't the good seats," he said.

"They were pretty much the bad seats because you couldn't even see the rink. They did have jumbotrons set up. I think the stadium (Citizens Bank Park) is going to fit well for it. Fenway did."

Fans say Citizens Bank Park is a great venue for baseball, so why not have some outdoor hockey there?
