Some Moms And Daughters Enjoy Brunch In Center City On Their Special Day
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – It's a special day for Moms, and what better way to spend it than a brunch date in the city.
The time honored tradition of breakfast in bed is certainly not for everyone.
Cynthy Black and her daughters want somebody else to do all the dirty work.
"They both live in the city, I live in the suburbs and I love coming in and we have a nice breakfast together -- a lot neater," said Black.
"It would be kind of weird us all in bed with our mom, seeing as we're about 25 now," added Black's daughter.
Cynthy's daughter Nancy says she's thrilled to spend the day with family, so what's the best part? "…probably the mimosas."
Her sister Mary is pregnant with twins and had to pass on the half-priced cocktails at Farmicia.
