PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Walnut Street Theatre’s “Independence Studio on 3″ is presenting a panorama of songs made famous by Frank Sinatra — memorable songs brought to life by a quartet of attractive performers and a pair of gifted musicians.

There are few references to the complex personality of the man himself, who died in 1998 at the age of 82.  The heart of the show is the songs he made famous, or, as someone commented, “It’s Frank’s world and we just live in it.”

He hated rock ‘n’ roll, calling it the work of “cretinous goons.”

However, if you are a lover of the Sinatra style, you’ll love “My Way,” with performances extended through July 3rd at the Walnut Street Theatre, 825 Walnut Street, in center city Philadelphia.
