Joy-Riding Teen Crashes Into Gas Line In Drexel Hill

DREXEL HILL, Pa. (CBS) – Police say an unlicensed teenager crashed into a gas line while joyriding early Friday morning.

The incident happened shortly after midnight in the 4900 block of State Road in Drexel Hill.

According to police, a 17-year-old, who did not have a license, borrowed a car and was recklessly driving around behind Anthony’s Ristorante.

The teen lost control of the car and crashed into a gas main, causing a gas leak. The teen was taken into police custody.

Crews spent the early morning hours Friday working to repair the gas line.

The incident remains under police investigation.

    Beat the snot out of him for starters, let him spend a few weekends in jail & work off the damages to the vehicle. Also make his friend who loaned him the car help out with the damages due to stupidity.
