Philadelphia Police Officer Sidelined After DUI Arrest
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A Philadelphia police officer has been arrested and taken off the street after authorities say he was driving drunk and crashed into another car.
It happened early Sunday along the 4200 block of North American Street in Feltonville.
Cops say Officer Peter Marrero, who was off-duty at the time, was given a breathalyzer test and blew over the legal limit.
The 46-year-old is a 21-year veteran of the department, and is currently assigned to the 25th District.
Marrero is charged with driving under the influence.
