Two Injured In North Philadelphia Playground Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Playground shooting leaves two men injured; one critical in North Philadelphia.

At approximately 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, two African-American men in a burgundy vehicle approached a playground located at the intersection of 27th and Clearfield Streets and shot two men on the basketball court.

One victim, a man about 25-years-old, was shot in the chest and the side and taken to Temple University Hospital in very critical condition. A 19-year-old man was shot once in the leg and taken to Temple in stable condition.

Police are still investigating.
