CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) – Police are searching for the gunman who fatally shot a man on a Camden County street late Thursday evening.

The deadly shooting happened at about 11 p.m. at Mt. Ephraim Avenue and Thurman Street in Camden.

Investigators say an unidentified man was shot in the head and was pronounced dead at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made. The motive for the shooting was not immediately known.

The deadly shooting remains under investigation by the Camden County Prosecutor’s office and the Camden City Police Department.
