Firefox 4

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Firing up the latest version of Firefox -- that's next on your tech support.

The Mozilla Foundation is a non-profit tech group that's most known for creating the Firefox browser, which first surfaced several years ago. It recently hit the refresh button with Firefox 4, which offers a customizable experience, faster browsing, and the ability to better manage your privacy.

For example, the do not track feature is meant to prevent companies from following your movements on the web. Thus far, Firefox 4 has been downloaded more than 5 million times around the world and is second only to Microsoft's Internet Explorer.

Of course there's still plenty of competition from Google with its Chrome browser and Apple with Safari. It all adds up to more choice for the average surfer.
