Chosen 300 Ministries Helps Feed The Homeless Not Just On Holidays

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - While many people celebrate Easter with services and a family dinner, some are wondering where the next meal will come from.
It's not an edifice but a Spring Garden Street storefront that houses Chosen 300 Ministries.

Lang says free Sunday breakfast is a big draw, but not the only one, "this is a beautiful place to come, because they feed us breakfast on Sundays. They feed us three times a week."

Joey says the message is the real feast. "It's spiritual food, changing your ideas your attitudes and your behaviors."

Brian Jenkins says that's what Easter is all about:

"That's the story of the resurrection. Jesus died and got up for the sins of the world, so that people's lives could be changed. That's what we have come to do here, to change peoples' lives, and to help the poor."
