PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Sunday’s Fairmount Arts Crawl turns the neighborhood into one big art gallery.

The free indoor/outdoor Fairmount Arts Crawl turns the neighborhood around Fairmount Avenue between 20th and 25th into an eclectic showcase for local artists – art will be in the streets, in restaurants, shops, cafes and bars.

A new addition this year is Artist Alley located at 22nd and Fairmount. Sharon Tice, event organizer, says the crawl has become so popular that they have added space for more artists. “It’s really due to every year we get inquiries from way more artists than we can place at the ventures that are participating. So instead of turning them away this year, we offered everyone the opportunity to have a table in the Artist Alley.”
