Postal Worker Struck, Pinned Underneath SEPTA Bus In W. Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A female postal worker pinned underneath a SEPTA bus after being hit in West Philadelphia Friday evening.

According to police, the 56-year-old postal worker was struck by a Route G bus at 57th Street and Woodcrest Avenue in the Wynnefield Section of the city at about 5:45 p.m.

The victim was freed from the bus and taken to the Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in stable condition.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the accident.
