Hop Stays On Top At The Box Office

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The children's Easter Bunny comedy, Hop, finished first at the box office for the second weekend in a row, earning an estimated $18-million in its second weekend of release and bested all four new releases.

The next four spots all went to newcomers on a weekend without any runaway attraction. In a virtual tie for second were Arthur, the debuting comedy remake with Russell Brand and Helen Mirren, and Hanna, the fantasy action thriller with Saoirse Ronan, Eric Bana, and Cate Blanchett. ach took in about $12-million.

Fourth place went to the inspirational drama, Soul Surfer, with $11-million. And rounding out the top five was the medieval spoof, Your Highness, starring Danny McBride, James Franco, and Natalie Portman, which totaled $10-million on its debut weekend.
