PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a SEPTA train late Monday evening.
The incident happened at about 11 p.m. near the intersection of Cresson and Calumet Streets in the city’s East Falls section.
According to officials, the unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the scene after being hit by a train on SEPTA’s R-6 line.
The circumstances surrounding the deadly incident remain under police investigation.
There were no reports of any injuries on the train.
