Chester Police Apprehend Bella Vista Rape Suspect

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chester Police have apprehended the suspect wanted for allegedly raping and robbing a female employee of a Philadelphia coffee shop last week.

Christopher Reeves was arrested shortly after 1 p.m. in Chester after police received a tip from an unidentified person regarding Reeves’ whereabouts.

Philadelphia Police say last Thursday, Reeves went into the Bella Vista neighborhood’s Bean Exchange coffee shop shortly before it opened for business. He reportedly demanded money from the female worker who was alone at the time.

The worker complied and gave up the money, but authorities say the suspect still sexually assaulted her before running away (see related story).

Reeves will be arraigned in Chester and then returned to Philadelphia on Monday, according to police.

    Publicly hang him.

I think much of the blame for this crime has to go to the district attorney Seth Williams for not doing his job and keeping criminals like this off the street. Get rid of Seth Williams and put a district attorney in office that knows how to keep criminals where they belong. In prison.

I hope this time that this moron goes to jail and stays there. He’s been arrested 19 times before. The poor woman that was asaulted will forever have this crime on her mind because of this selfish piece of s**t. He should be kept in jail for the rest of his life.
