PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A new survey suggests “stay-cations” are out and more people are looking to travel again.
The http://www.Priceline.com survey indicates 86-percent of people plan to take a vacation this year, and that number pretty much holds up with the people I’ve spoken to.
One of them was Darl who has already logged one vacation this year.
“I’ve already been on one to Disney Land and San Diego,” he said he brought his three children ages two, five and 13 along for the ride. “We were there a total eight days in California. We’ll take another one this summer I’m sure.”
Nearly every one I spoke to said they were going on at least one vacation this year. As for stay-cations, which the survey says are generally out this year, a number of people said they’d rather have a change of scenery, than stay home which would probably end up with them doing projects around the house and not relaxing.
