Police Cruisers Collide In Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two Philadelphia police officers suffered minor injuries after their cruisers collided early Thursday morning.

The accident happened at about 2:45 a.m. at Emerald Street and E. Somerset Street in the city’s Kensington section.

According to police, the officers were responding to an assist call when their cruisers collided.

Both officers were taken to Temple University Hospital to be evaluated for minor injuries. The officers are expected to be released after being evaluated.

The crash remains under police investigation.

    Be responsible with your comments. There was no alcohol involved in this accident. The road conditions were wet. The Officers were driving to back up other Officers that needed their assistance. When you make comments like that people read that and believe you have unreported information. If your not gonna be part of the solution, please don’t add to the problem. It was an accident, nothing more.
