Man Critical After Shooting In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - A man is in critical condition after being shot in North Philadelphia early Wednesday morning.

The shooting happened at about 1 a.m. in the 800 block of N. Marvine Street near Parrish Street.

According to police, officers arrived and found a 20-year-old male lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to his chest.

The victim was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in extremely critical condition.

So far, police do not have any suspects or a motive in the shooting. The incident remains under police investigation.
