WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, N.J. - Camden County authorities have arrested and charged the man they say burned down a popular Winslow Township and live music spot.
The fire last month destroyed the Golden Nugget Tavern (see previous story).
Winslow police say 25-year-old Anthony Balog of Hamilton Township, NJ was at the bar before closing time on the morning of February 11th and threatened to set the place ablaze. Cops say he came back hours later and started the fire.
Balog was arrested on Saturday and charged with aggravated arson and making terroristic threats. He is behind bars in lieu of $65,000 bail.
