Competition is a great way to sharpen your game and reveal what areas need work. Opportunity knocks nice and early this season at Moccasin Run in the form of its Spring 2-Man Better Ball tourney. The date is Saturday, April 9 for the 36-hole event, which will be flighted into three divisions after the first round with 20 teams per flight.
Format is 2-Person Better Ball with a 7:30a shotgun start, and a $6,000.00 purse (based on 60 teams).
Entry fee is $115 per person and includes green fees, cart, range balls, lunch, dinner and prizes.
Entry deadline is April 6 if it doesn’t sell out earlier. You can sign up by calling 610-593-2600, sending an email to info@moccasinrun.com or by visiting www.moccasinrun.com.
Coming up next week: some thoughts on practice… and about what we miss when we look away in disgust after a bad shot.
