PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for three suspects who tied up an elderly woman during a home invasion early Thursday morning.
The incident happened at about 1 a.m. inside a home in the 4400 block of N. Orianna Street in the city’s Feltonville section.
According to investigators, the masked trio kicked in the door and began ransacking the home.
The homeowner, identified as only as an elderly woman, was tied up by the suspects, but police say she was not seriously injured.
The suspects fled the home shortly after the invasion. It was not immediately known what the suspects stole from the home.
Detectives believe the suspects may have entered the wrong home.
The search for the suspects remains ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
