Suspects Sought In Robbery Of Delaware Church

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) - Police in Delaware are searching for two suspects in connection to the robbery of a church earlier this month.

The incident happened March 5th at the Newark United Church of Christ on Salem Church Road in Newark.

According to investigators, the suspects broke into the church and stole various items, including food intended for the homeless and a credit card. The credit card was later used at a Gulf gas station on 4th Street in Wilmington.

The first suspect is described as a tall, thin, white male in his 30's with brown hair. He is usually in possession of a book bag and a rolling suitcase. He is known to frequent Main Street in Newark and is believed to be homeless.

The second suspect is believed to be a light-skinned black male.

Both were last seen at the Gulf station where they used the stolen credit card to purchase gasoline for the operator of a two-tone Dodge Ram truck with a makeshift bed rack, possibly made of wood.
