Suspect Sought In Police And Fire Federal Credit Union Robbery

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Philadelphia Police and local FBI are asking for the public’s help in bringing a robbery suspect to justice.

Police say a man, described as a white male in his late 20’s, entered the Police and Fire Federal Credit Union on the 7500 block of Castor Avenue and demanded cash with a note.

Police have released surveillance images from the robbery that show the suspect wearing a black knit hat with an unknown gray logo on the front, a black hooded sweat jacket with the hood worn up, and cream colored gloves with red tips.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI Hotline at 215-418-4000.  This male is considered armed and dangerous.  Citizens are being cautioned if they see this male do not approach him, call 911 immediately.

NEVER thought I would see the day when someone was so brazen and foolish to hold up a branch of the POLICE and Fire Credit Union! He deserves the Idiot of the Year Award!
