EXETER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) - Authorities in Berks County are investigating the cause of a two-alarm fire that damaged the roof of a historic building Sunday morning.
At about 11 a.m., crews responded to the 100 block of Meetinghouse Road in Exeter Township to find smoke billowing out of the roof.
Parishioners were able to safely exit the Exeter Friends Meetinghouse before fire crews arrived, authorities say.
No injuries were reported, according to officials.

Members were allowed to enter the building once the fire was placed under control.
The meetinghhouse, which was built in the 1750s, also sustained water damage.
