Suspect Sought In Robberies Of New Jersey Pharmacies

CVS Robbery

WOODBURY, NJ (CBS) – Police in two New Jersey towns are searching for a suspect in connection to the robbery of one pharmacy and the attempted robbery of another.

The first incident occurred March 4th at about 7 p.m. at the CVS Pharmacy located on South Black Horse Pike in Mount Ephraim.

Investigators say the suspect walked into store and presented a demand note stating that he was armed. The suspect asked the pharmacist to hand over OxyContin and Xanax. The store had neither drug and the suspect left without incident.

A day later, the same suspect robbed three bottles of Xanax from a CVS located on East Red Bank Avenue in Woodbury.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 25-years-old, with dark hair and a crew cut. He is between 5’9”-5’10” tall with a thin build.

The Citizens Crime Commission is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Anyone with information is urged to call 215-546-TIPS.
