Delaware Police Officer Charged With Child Porn

HARRINGTON, Del. (AP) — A Harrington police officer is facing child pornography charges after an investigation by Delaware State Police and the state child predator task force.

Authorities arrested 37-year-old Jonathan Kendall on Thursday on several counts of dealing in child pornography.

The arrest came after investigators executed a search warrant at his home in Lincoln on Jan. 19.

Information obtained in that search led to two additional searches of Kendall’s home and car on Thursday, during which additional evidence was recovered.

Kendall is charged with 27 counts of dealing in child pornography, one count of hindering prosecution, and official misconduct. He was arraigned and being held under $272,000 secured bond.

Nothing makes my blood boil like those who deal with child pornography. For a police officer, who should be held to a higher standard, to be caught viewing or selling this trash, is truly obscene. I hope that this man goes to jail for a long time. I also hope that he makes a lot of new “friends” in jail and I’m not talking about on Facebook. Absolutely disgusting. I feel for his family who I’m sure are devastated.

Dude likes little kids, huh? OMG, he was also a police officer. I wonder if the dealing in the child porn was to supplement his income?
