Inmate Escapes From Delaware Facility

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- Officials say an inmate has escaped from the Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington.

Authorities say 29-year-old Pleasant Hardy was seen jumping over the center's wall about 6:45 p.m. Sunday.

Hardy was serving a one-year sentence for violating probation on a charge of possession within 1000 feet of a school. He arrived at
Plummer on March 2.
