Police search for suspect involved in a Delaware bank robbery.
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) — Detectives are currently investigating a bank robbery in Delaware.
The Pike Creek Bank, located on the 4000 block of Limestone Road in Wilmington, was robbed at approximately 9:50 a.m. this morning.
The suspect, who is described as a white male between the ages of 23 and 28 and about 6 feet tall, approached two tellers and displayed a black handgun. He demanded an undisclosed sum of money, and fled the bank after receiving it.
The suspect was last seen fleeing the scene of the crime in a silver vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet. He was wearing a beige or tan jacket, dark pants and gloves, and black framed sunglasses. He is described as average to thin build. He also had an Eastern European or Russian accent.
