PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (CBS) – A window washer is in critical condition after plummeting four stories early Wednesday morning.

The man, reportedly between 20 and 30 years old, fell off scaffolding at 38th and Spruce in University City this morning around 9:30 a.m.

He was rushed to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania with head injuries, where he is now in critical condition.

Police continue to investigate the accident.

The man’s name has not yet been released.
