Take Your Appetite To The Flower Show

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Baguettes, chocolates, pastries, coq au vin... It's hard to think about France without thinking of FOOD. So it makes sense that when it's 'Springtime in Paris' at the Flower Show, in addition to art, gardens, and the Eiffel Tower, the cafés and culinary delights of Paris will be celebrated too.

All week long at the Flower Show, you can enjoy cooking demonstrations of French cuisine, as chefs from area restaurants – including Lacroix, Parc, Le Bec Fin, Rouge, and Bistro La Minette – will be appearing daily in the Culinary Room on the Main Concourse.

The cooking demonstrations are free and you can enjoy them every day of Flower Show week, from March 6th to 13th, at 12 noon, 1:30 and 3pm. Each session is about a half an hour, after which you get to ask questions…such as 'may I taste that?' It's a great chance to learn some classic cooking techniques first hand from the experts, so you can go home and create a taste of Paris in your own kitchen.

Bon appetit!
