New Castle County Man Charged With Rape Of 8-Year-Old Girl

PORT PENN, Del. (CBS) – A New Castle County man is charged with the rape of an 8-year-old girl after videos of him were discovered by the victim’s mother on Wednesday.

Joshua Jones, 23, of Port Penn was arrested Thursday after investigators say the victim’s mother found two videos on her home computer depicting her daughter performing sexual acts on her boyfriend, Jones.

Delaware State Police say when the 28-year-old mother confronted Jones about the videos, he fled the residence. Police were unable to locate Jones on Wednesday but received a tip the next day of a suspicious person near Rt. 13 at Drawyer’s Creek.

Upon their arrival, they apprehended Jones without incident. He was then transported to the Wilmington Hospital for an evaluation.

Jones faces charges of 1st degree rape and unlawful sexual contact. He was admitted to the Howard Young Correctional Institute for lack of $55,000 secured bail.

This is the best argument I’ve heard lately for the death penalty. Unfortunately the state of PA doesn’t execute those that need it. Consolation will be that he’ll make a lot of “friends” in prison, and I’m not talking about Facebook. Inmates love young white boys…
