Winners Of Philadelphia’s “With Love” Marketing Contest Announced
Meryl Levitz (above), president and CEO of GPTMC, says since the start of the “With Love” billboard campaign, people have been stopping her on the street to give her billboard ideas.
“Everyone’s a producer and everyone has a great line, and a lot of times the best ideas do come from them,” Levitz notes.
So they opened up a competition to the public, which garnered about 2,700 suggestions for “With Love” billboard.
“Popular topics included Philly sports teams, our food, the bell, historic happenings, Rocky. Big attractions like the Franklin Institute and cheese steaks got lots of love,” Levitz says. “Our trademark sandwich was mentioned 83 times.”
Levitz says the second finisher in the contest was, “Dear Philadelphia, you’ll always be my first. With Love, America. And the number one: Dear Philadelphia, you had me at ‘Yo.’ With Love, Mary Kay.”
