CB East Students Rally Against Teacher's Comments

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) - Students at Central Bucks East High School rallied in the school parking lot Sunday to show that they are not the "lazy whiners" that suspended school teacher Natalie Munroe labeled them (See related story).

Senior Bailey Cavanaugh says being mocked and criticized as spoiled brats by people who don't even know you is unacceptable. So students at CB East gathered to show what they are really all about.

"We do have unity here. We are standing strong. We are a positive community, and we want to show the outside world that we're not the group of nasty kids that the country seems to think we are."

Senior Ted Raymer was one of the speakers who climbed onto a pickup truck to laud CB East students.

"I don't know if anyone here is on the boys soccer team, but we went to state's this year -- yeah! Girls cross-country, we've got some of the best runners in the nation, musicians and artists, we have so many, I can't even list them all."
