Police Locate Stolen Moorestown Statue

MOORESTOWN, N.J. (CBS) - Police have located a statue that was stolen from the Moorestown Community House late Tuesday night.

Authorities say a passerby spotted the 5-foot-tall statue of the famous RCA Victor dog in a pile of weeds behind the building.

Police are searching for the suspects responsible for removing the statue from its post in front of the community house. Police say the theft happened between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 4:30 Wednesday morning.

The Moorestown Community House is not certain when its historic statue will be placed back in its old spot.
