With spring training now officially underway, and heading down to Clearwater Florida on Friday, I can’t remember any team generating so much buzz.

Born and raised in Philadelphia and a life long sports fan, I too am just as excited as anyone.

Yet this anxious fan is already worried… what if our 2011 Phillies turn out to be the Miami Heat of baseball (A team that is playing well but could be playing better).

I don’t mean to sound negative and I am truly a positive person but here is my main concern:

After adding superstar Cliff Lee to an already outstanding rotation, I know we have the dream team when it comes to pitching, but what about hitting?

The Phillies are now one year older (the oldest starting lineup in team history) and coming off a somewhat dismal season at the plate… Trust me, I love our team and I’m nowhere near hitting the panic button, after all it’s only February.

Thoughts?
