Philadelphia Businesses Light Up With Love On Monday

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The city of Philadelphia gets into the Valentine's Day spirit on Monday.

Philadelphia gets festive on Valentines Day. Nancy Goldenberg, vice president of planning with the Center City District says they're marking this holiday with special lights.

"On Monday night, love will be in the light in the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection as our Center City business and property owners send a colorful message across the region that Center City is the place to be on Valentine's Day!"

That colorful message will be sent through the city's LED lighting system, adds Goldenberg. "Many of our properties will be lit in beautiful colors of red and pink and purple. We have a dozen buildings on South Broad Street that will be beautifully lit."

She also says the Cira Center, Two Liberty Place, the Hyatt at Penn's Landing and the Ben Franklin Bridge will be lit up for the holiday.
