PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – This Valentine’s Day weekend, 94WYSP and Danny Bonaduce are giving one couple the wedding of their dreams in a promotion called “I Do With Danny.”
Over 900 couples entered the contest by submitting details about their relationship including how they met, how long they’ve been together and why they’d want to be married by Danny Bonaduce.
Last week, five finalist couples were chosen and played the Soon-To-Be-Newlywed game on the Danny Bonaduce Show to see how well they knew each other.
This past Friday, Rebecca Hess of Moorestown, N.J. and Justin Greenhow of Paoli, Pa., were selected as the winning couple by the station. They will be married by Danny and celebrate at White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park Casino in Wilmington, Del. on Friday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m.
Justin, who is enlisted in the Air National Guard, is scheduled to be deployed to Afghanistan in March, with his soon-to-be-bride, Rebecca staying behind. They were engaged this past December and had discussed a courthouse marriage before his deployment when Justin learned of the contest and entered.
94WYSP has partnered with area businesses to provide all of the components of the wedding for the winning couple including the rings, the flowers, the cake and even the honeymoon cruise.
Complete details can be found at www.idowithdanny.com.
The bride to be had this to say about the experience: “This will not only be the wedding of our dreams, but an opportunity that will change our lives forever. We are so grateful to have each other and to have this opportunity to celebrate with our family, our friends, and of course, Danny!”
94WYSP will broadcast live from the wedding and reception and highlights of the ceremony will be played back Monday morning at 8:00am on The Danny Bonaduce Show. Fans can listen on-air or online at http://www.94wysp.com.
