The high temperature of 48 degrees today was the highest temperature in Philadelphia since January 1st. Before you get too comfortable, we are going to see some big changes this week.
A cold front will usher in a few rain and snow showers overnight into Tuesday morning, but a blast of cold air will quickly follow. Winds may gusts up to 45 mph Tuesday afternoon as temperatures tumble through the 30s.
Wednesday’s high will only be in the upper 20s and Wind Chills during the next couple of days will struggle to get out of the teens. Spring may only be 41 days away but it certainly won’t feel like it.
In other weather news, the storm system we were looking at for Thursday appears to be going south so you can put away the shovels for now but keep the hats, gloves and scarves handy.
