Body Confirmed To Be Missing Chester Mother

BROOKHAVEN, Pa. (CBS) — Police in Delaware County confirm a body found in a car near Route 352 in Brookhaven is a Chester woman who’s been missing since January 26th.

The body of 34-year-old Ronda Garnett was found inside her overturned Oldsmobile near Route 352 and Hilltop Road. She was reported missing last Wednesday when she failed to return home after work at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Lima.

Police say she must have run off the road and nobody noticed because of the foot and a half of snow that was dumped on top of it. They also say that her death appears to have been accidental.

An autopsy is pending.

So sorry she had to go this way not knowing if she was going to survive or not.
How long did it take for the search to begin and how intense was the search? God bless her and the Garnett family.

I am very sad for this family. I can’t believe that no one saw that car off the road. My grandmother lived in Hilltop condos and it just seems like someone should have seen that car.My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Hey John – what do you do, follow the Brookhaven cops around 24 hours a day?! You must be one of those liberal left wingers that have to blame everyone else. Maybe its just an unfortunate accident – that thought ever cross your mind?!. The Brookhaven police do a great job!

Hey Nick- Why do you think just because someone writes something stupid that they must be a ‘liberal left winger. Haven’t you been following politics. Liberals AND conservatives have both shown they can say stupid things.

@ Anthony. How do you know that the police didn’t think that may have happened? You ever think they may have not been able to see it? And they did use a helicopter, but if something is covered up, again how in the world could they see it. Please think before you comment!!!

  • Jacki

Sure, blame the police. It’s always the cop”s fault, right?

  • anthony
