PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The Philadelphia Fire Marshall is investigating an apartment fire in the city’s Bustleton section Friday morning that claimed the life of an unidentified man.
The fire was reported around 5:30 a.m. at an apartment house along the 1000 block of Red Lion Road. Firefighters quickly confined the blaze to one apartment unit and declared the fire under control within 20 minutes.
Once the fire was under control, firefighters entered and conducted a secondary search. During the search they found the victim’s body in a rear bedroom. The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene.
