Another Boy Arrested For Upper Darby ‘Bully’ Attack

UPPER DARBY, Pa. (CBS) – A seventh suspect in a vicious bullying attack on an Upper Darby teen has been arrested and faces serious charges.

A 14-year-old boy joins the ranks of six other 13 to 17-year-olds in juvenile detention to face charges in the attack that had a fellow Upper Darby High School student begging for his life.

Police superintendent Michael Chitwood says they plucked the suspect out of class in handcuffs:

“He is no longer a tough guy. He was down in the detention room, waiting to be transported, and was vomiting in one of the trash cans, and crying, saying he had never been involved in anything like this.”

The victim wasn’t seriously hurt, but the seven teens face assault and kidnapping charges. They’re accused of filming the brutality with a cell phone camera.

Let’s here from the parents of these fine Upper Darby Students.

  2. MarcD says:

Why aren’t the parents of those kids being arrested and put on trial as well? If your 13 year old is hunting in a pack, you’ve failed as a parent, and society should hold you accountable.

  3. Guess Who says:

These knuckle-walkers have to attack in packs because they are cowards. Because of this, our women and elderly are not safe from these groidles.

  4. Jim Wilmer says:

As I wrote before, bullies would travel light, 2 or 3. The one the big bully, the others just followers(gophers/patsys). Now it has become the mob mentality. Hard to believe with all the education available to our youth they have not learned to think for themselves! I am speaking of Sesame Street, to how many Disney Channels we have out there. But to think for ones’ self is hard. It’s easier to let one think for you and you to follow. We have just become a lazy people!
