Obama's Speech Garners Positive Reviews In Philly

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- The president's State of the Union speech received positive reviews from a crowd at a watch party at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.

Mayor Michael Nutter was among about 200 people who came to the event at the nonpartisan institution in the heavily Democratic city.

President Barack Obama's address to Congress on Tuesday included discussion of jobs, education and health care. He says that despite many challenges, the state of the union is strong.

Obama says the nation must "sustain the leadership that has made America not just a place on a map, but a light to the world."

An informal computerized poll at the watch party showed an overwhelming number thought the speech was good or very good.
