Fire Breaks Out At Southwest Philadelphia Rowhome

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Firefighters in Philadelphia are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out in the city’s Kingsessing section Saturday evening.

The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at a three-story home on the 50th block of Woodland Avenue. Authorities say the heavy fire on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the home started to spread to the residence next door, but firefighters were able to contain it.

No injuries were reported.
