Alleged Patient Of Abortion Doctor Is “Scarred For Life”

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — A alleged former patient says she is scarred for life after being forced to have an abortion by Dr. Kermit Gosnell.

A 28-year-old woman, who chose to remain anonymous, says when she was just 15-years-old, her grandmother forced her to get an abortion from Dr. Gosnell, now charged with the deaths of seven babies and a one patient.

“I had no choice whatsoever,” said the former patient.

According to the victim, she told the doctor she did not want an abortion, but that’s when things got physical.

“That’s when he grabbed me and he started pulling off my clothes,” she says. “He did manage to get my clothes off and he managed to get me on the table. He would tie my arms down first and then tie my legs to the stirrups, that’s when he grabbed my leg and turned me to the side and began smacking me over and over again, the way you would a child”

The woman went on to explain that after striking her, Gosnell pulled out a needle.

“He injected a needle into my right arm and I said ‘I hope I die, so you regret this for the rest of your life.'”

The victim says she woke up 12 hours later, no longer pregnant.

She says she felt alone and scared until earlier this week when news of Gosnell’s arrest became public and other victim’s began coming forward.

“He’s a monster and he knew that I was a child and what could I do. It really ruined my life at that time. He’s finally getting what he deserves.”

The alleged patient told CBS 3 that she has recently contacted the District Attorney’s office who told her the statute of limitations on her case has expired.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.

CBS, you need an editor. This piece is FULL of errors, beginning with the first word.

  3. seanmom says:

Itz, I read the entire Grand Jury report. The Women’s Medical Center WAS legal, and it WAS available. It was not SAFE because the people in charge of inspecting it (even after complaints, even after deaths) didn’t want to seem to persecute an abortion clinic because they were PRO-CHOICE, and they couldn’t IMAGINE that one of their own could be doing anything but “helping” women. The blindness of ideology killed the babies and women that died after the first complaints were brushed off.

  4. KA says:

Oh okay itz so its okay to kill babies as long as the clinic is clean and looks like a hospital, is that it?

Nice. (There is no such thing as a “safe” abortion.)

  5. honor says:

healing is available for women who have had abortions. You can be healed go to

  6. BC says:

This alleged event took place 13 years ago. Enough time for this person to contact authorities and stop it. What about Grandma? where’s she? If this person was 15 then Grandma was probably about 30. These people never heard of birth control. Condoms: $2.99 Pills from the Doctor since about 1960.
Shame on all of them for not notifying the police. But then again, this is the culture and the way things are done in West Philadelphia.

No one mentioned the victims comments: smacking me over and over again, the way you would a child”

is there a certain way to smack up a child? Pathetic!

  8. civil_rightist says:

I don’t believe her. I think she’s just looking for somebody to sue. That’s called productivity in fascist America. The question is “has the victim asked God, Allah or Adam (if you’re Jewish) for forgiveness?”

  9. John in Brooklyn says:

Did anyone beside me notice the phrase “He would tie my arms down first and then tie my legs to the stirrups,”? Doesn’t that seem odd? It either indicates that this happened repeatedly or that there’s something more to the story.

  10. Dawn says:

Itz, this WAS a legal clinic. They was not a hidden operation, but the result of legalized abortion. That they turned living human beings into dead ones is what abortion is all about. Stop with the slogans. It’s not what he did, but how he did it, as in dirty sheets. Dead children, whether killed by scissors or forceps, are the expected outcome.

    1. itz says:

No Dawn. This was no medical center, the facts are the Dept of Health did not inspect this dump because it fell throught the cracks of legal and sanctioned. This dump was in W. Philly among the poor and disinfranchised population, depending on word of mouth for the availabilty of cheap abortions at any time. This wold not have been tolerated in Center City, the Main Line or the far NE. get real. With real providers there are standards of medical care, with real nurses and doctors whgo know what they are doing, in a safe and clean environment. This place was no different than some back alley, or garage or basement with a coat hanger.

Your grandmother is a monster to she took you there

  12. itz says:

A great reason to have abortions, safe, legal and available without having to seek out these horror filled clinics.
