WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Delaware State Police are searching for a suspect who stole a ring worth approximately $9,000 from a jewelry store.
The robbery happened Thursday at about 7:35 p.m. at the Del Haven Jewelry store located in the Concord Mall in Wilmington.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the jewelry store and asked to look at rings that were on display. As an employee was holding a diamond ring in her hand valued at over $9,000, the suspect snatched it from her and fled from the store.
The employee was not injured.
The suspect is described as a black male with a large build and a beard. He was last seen wearing glasses, a tan golf hat and a brown jacket.
