PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Another shot is on the way from Old Man Winter.

AccuWeather meteorologist Elliot Abrams breaks down the timeline for this storm.

“Tonight (Thursday) it will get cloudy and snow could arrive sometime around 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight (Thursday) and falling heavily for a few hours into Friday,” Abrams says. “We’re expecting two to four inches in the city and as much as six inches in areas well north of Philadelphia.”

The snow is expected to begin after midnight, with the heaviest falling between 2a.m. and 5 a.m. The snow is expected to end between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m.

This storm has the potential to disrupt the morning commute, but conditions will rapidly improve throughout the day as temperatures are expected to hover around 32 degrees with some sunny breaks.
